Un-Guided Rentals and Outfitting Agenda

(Agenda subject to revision at any time)

Day 1:

After arriving in Hughes and touring the community (also with safety briefings and reviews of visitors guidelines) clients will be transported upriver from Hughes by boat to a pre-determined location.

After transporting clients to the location and making sure they are all prepared for the trip, they will set off on their Koyukuk River un-guided adventure.

Day 2:

KRTT will designate several areas along the river that are available for overnight camping locations (guests will be provided maps with the locations).

Day 3:

Once clients return to Hughes (with all equipment and gear accounted for and in good condition) the rental agreements will end.

Clients will return to Fairbanks on whichever flights they booked in advance. If they need to or would like to stay additional nights they are more than welcomed in the community, but they will need to book rooms with one of the local Air BnB lodgings that are available within the community.

Local community entrepreneurs may also offer vehicles for rent, if needed. There will also be lots of time to buy Alaska Native gifts for sale from local artisans!
